Dr. Daniel D. McClenahan received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Nebraska Dental School in 1979. Since then, he has maintained a solo practice in Overton. He fell in love with the community and the area, and he and his wife Karen were privileged to raise their family in this small-town environment.
Dr. McClenahan has a big heart and treats people as he wants to be treated. His greatest reward as a dentist is providing a great experience for people who may have fear or uncertainty about visiting the dentist. What truly energizes him is his relationship with his patients—taking care of their dental health, watching them grow old, and growing older with them.
"Dentistry has been such an enjoyable profession for me. I enjoy the art of dentistry as well as the technical side, so I make a point to constantly update my knowledge and methods through continuing education."
Dr. Dan spends his spare time running, biking, golfing, and taking many trips to the mountains to ski. His favorite pastime, however, involves following the activities of 10 grandkids with his wife, Karen.
